 Terms and Conditions 


1.0       These terms and conditions govern your use of Steady Sense (SS) services; by engaging our services you (client, organisation or solicitor etc)  accept these terms and conditions in full. 

1.1       Steady Sense is a business operating on self-employment and freelance basis.

1.2       Steady Sense provides face to face and  online/remote psychological/psychotherapeutic services, coaching and training.   


Professional standards and practice

2.0       Our psychologists are members  with British Psychological Society  and are governed by their standards for conduct, performance and ethics. 

2.1       Our psychologists are members and/or registered with international organisations such as ISST, ISCP, CFP Brazil and  BPS Bulgaria and follow their ethical code for practice and professional development. 

 

Confidentiality

3.1        We consider information shared by you as confidential in nature and do not share it with  third parties except for legal purposes  and with whoever instructed us (usually as a report) when requested to do so and will enlist your agreement to do this. 

3. 2       In a  case when a psychologist  considered that your life was at risk, if another person's life was at risk or if the psychologist was liable to civil or criminal court proceedings then the information would be disclosed for safety or legal purposes. 

3.3       If you want a specific information to not be disclosed in a report,  you must make this clear before the report is written.

3.4       Information shared is securely  stored in SS electronic system and/or in a secured physical environment. 

3.5       SS is abiding to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to ensure that your data is protected. Where appropriate SS will require  consent from you about how we intend to handle your data.


Payment 

4.0       We operate on price transparency policy  and our prices for individuals are shown on our web site www.steadysense.org.  Our prices will be updated from time to time and it is the client’s responsibility to check on the web site before engaging SS.

4.1       Prices for organisations are provided on request. 

4.2       We accept payment electronically. A bank transfer or an alternative such as PayPal or Revolut should be made minimum 48h prior a session.

4.3       Payment details are sent after an initial contact  is made with us and when you request a service from us.

4. 4       Booking Appointment is considered completed  after the payment has been made. 

4.5       SS’s services provided  to businesses will be due for payment within 7 days after the invoice has been sent. 


Service engagement 

5. 0        It is expected a service user to attend and engage with our service. If you decide to cancel your first appointment and disengage from the service being offered, an administration charge of £35.00 will apply and  will be due for payment within 7 days. 

5.1         Prepaid bundle services with a fixed time are not transferable for another time. 


Cancellations

6.0       Cancellations have to be made at least 24h before the appointment. 

6.1       Cancellations  made less 24h , SS will retain the full fee.

6.2       If a pre-booked session is unattended after 20 minutes it will be assumed that the session has been canceled / unattended and you will be charged the full fee. 

6.3         If you cancel prepaid bundle services/session, the amount for the service / session is not refundable or transferrable to the next service/session and SS will retain the full price for the bundle service/session.

7.1     We may make changes to these terms at any time. It is your responsibility to review the Terms and Condition of use for updates and changes.
